It will be freezing and cold with calm weather today. It’s a welcome break from the record breaking Groundhog Day snowstorm. Today will be colder than average. Sunday will be in season. It remains snowless after this morning and there is no further snowfall for the next week.

Saturday morning is freezing with a fair amount of cloud overhead. Even with the cloud quilt, temperatures start in the single digits. Any wind speed of 5 mph or more will push wind chills near or below zero.
Many neighborhoods will wake up to a light dusting of overnight snow. The powdery flakes will be easy to sweep away. Just be careful of some slippery spots.
Saturday afternoon will be partly sunny and nearly 10 degrees colder than average. Definitely dress in layers with high temperatures just above 20 degrees.

Saturday evening will be very cold and partly cloudy. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper teens.
Remember to bring pets inside and watch out for heaters.
Saturday night will become icy under a beautiful sky. Overnight lows will be in the single digits and teenage lows.
Cold and sunny Sunday
Sunday will be mostly sunny and cold. Highs will be near 30 degrees, which is only a few degrees lower than the average high. Wind chills will be in the numbers and teens, with a southwesterly breeze moving 10 to 15 mph.

Monday will be rather cloudy and cold. Afternoon temperatures will be around 30 degrees.
Tuesday will again be brighter and just as cold. Highs will be in the upper 20s.
Wednesday and Thursday will not be as cold under partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies. Every day will have daytime temperatures in the low and mid 30s.
Friday has a chance of snow. The weather will be rather cloudy and cold. Peaks in the 1930s.
