It will be a warmer night than recent nights with lows holding in the 40s for Omaha and falling into the 30s locations north of the metro. Light winds and clear skies also accompany the cool temperatures.
A cold front sets in on Sunday with much cooler temperatures. Highs will not come out of the 50s for Sunday. The breeze will continue on Sunday but will be lighter with gusts only around 20-25 mph. Sunday night turns cold, with lows falling into the 20s, the first time this season it will happen in Omaha.
We remain windy on Monday with similar gusts of wind, but the temperature drops even more. Monday highs remain in the 40s. Monday evening to Tuesday morning lows are approaching record highs. Record low in Omaha is 20, projected low is 22. Other places may break records.
Tuesday doesn’t see much recovery, with highs in the mid-40s more than 20 degrees below average.
We begin a warming trend on Wednesday with highs near 60s and continue Thursday with highs into the mid 60s.
We’re back in the 70s by Friday into the weekend.
The week looks dry with little cloud cover and less chance of rain.
