The Met Office weather forecast in Plymouth predicts a wet week

Plymouth is set for a rather wet week according to the latest Met Office forecast.

While things could remain relatively dry for Valentine’s Day, there is plenty of precipitation in store from Tuesday.

It won’t be particularly hot either, with 13 degrees Celsius the highest temperature expected by Sunday.

The Met Office forecast for the next seven days is as follows.

Monday

With a maximum temperature of nine degrees Celsius, Monday will be cloudy, then sunny in the late morning.

There is a 30% chance of light rain around 4 p.m.

Tuesday

Tuesday will be the wettest day of the week, with a 90% chance of heavy rain from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and showers continuing into the afternoon.

Wednesday

Wednesday will be the week’s peak temperature according to the Met Office.

While it will reach 13 degrees Celsius that day, there is a 60% chance of light rain from 06:00 to 18:00.

Thusday

Thursday will see things dry up during the day, although there is a 50% chance of light rain from 9:00 p.m.

Friday

While there is an 80% chance of heavy rain from 06:00, in the evening there is only a 10% chance of precipitation.

Saturday

Saturday will be cloudy, changing to light showers by lunchtime.

Sunday

There is a 50% chance of light rain between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday.
